Customer Service Representative

AEC is an Italian multinational company active in the research and development of special components and wiring for the Automotive sector, developing products through all stages of design and prototyping up to mass production. We have a global presence thanks to our plants in Italy, Romania, and Tunisia, and our company is continuously growing.

We’re looking for a new resource as Customer Service Representative, located in our warehouse in Troy, Michigan.

Position Summary:

The candidate, directly reporting to the Customer Service Manager, will be responsible for managing customer orders, entering them into the management system (SAP), contacting the Production department to define production timelines for the wiring, receiving materials in Troy, and shipping them to the customer. The candidate will also handle invoicing and may be involved in purchasing activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responding to customer inquiries and complaints

· Following up with customers regarding order status

· Coordinate and monitor the shipping of materials to customers

· Collaborating with other departments for planning productions and to resolve issues

· Maintaining customer records and databases

The Ideal Candidate:

· Has a High School Diploma at minimum

· Has at least 3-4 years of experience in a similar position

· Has experience in the Automotive sector

· Possesses strong communication skills for interacting with clients

· Demonstrates a strong problem-solving attitude

· Has good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Salary and Benefits:

· Wage from $37,000 up to $43,000 based on the experience gained in the position
